so i'm in ottawa now. i got in friday morning, and got unpacked and everything. the place i'm in isn't too bad. the room's a little small, but i can live with it. the living room and kitchen are relatively spacious, so it's all good. today, i got my bus pass, gym membership, and just wandered around the city. more specifically, the downtown area. wandered around parliament, byward market, and along wellington in general. i saw the feral cat colony behind parliament hill too. that's some crazy shit. i only saw 2 cats, but i saw squirrels drinking from the water basins, and raccoons eating the food, all oblivious to the people just on the other side fo the fence. saw some tulips too, since the tulip festival is just starting up. most hvaen't come out yet though.
raptors lost...damn jefferson. but all that could've been avoided if the raptors learned not to get blown out and actually win some games. i expect much better resutls by this time next year.

Welcome to Ottawa. I will try to come visit sometime in July ... if you can let me know how far the VIA station is from your place ... =) The place sounds wonderful, trust you to go get a gym membership ASAP ... good on you! =)
Sucks that the Raps lost, but as I said on my blog, I am expecting great things from this team next year because by fucking golly, they are going to get to the playoffs next year!
